Kim Kardashian disclosed that one of her sons with ex-husband Kanye West has a rare skin condition.

The 43-year-old mother of four, who shares North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with 47-year-old West, revealed that one of her boys has vitiligo.

“It came from my mom, went to me, and I passed it on in a different form to my son, who has vitiligo very mildly,” the Kardashians star said on Monday's episode of the She MD podcast.

According to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, vitiligo is a "chronic autoimmune disorder that causes patches of skin to lose pigment or color." The institute explains that "happens when melanocytes – skin cells that make pigment – are attacked and destroyed, causing the skin to turn a milky-white color."

Model Winnie Harlow, a friend of Kim's, also has vitiligo.

Although Kim, who has psoriasis, didn't specify which of her children has the disorder, she mentioned that it is "under control."

“I didn’t know anything about it, but having to learn about it and figuring out where it came from and that it’s hereditary and just learning more and being able to share that [has been a blessing],” she told hosts Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi and influencer Mary Alice Haney.

The candid TV personality also shared that her kids have "a little bit of eczema."

Kardashian has been managing psoriasis since she was about 30 and is the only one of Kris Jenner's six children to inherit the condition.

“I’ll do anything,' she said about treating the uncomfortable flareups. 'I’ve tried special herbs, the holistic way, a celery juice diet for six weeks, every topical cream, every soap from natural to unnatural.”
