The Federal Government announced on Friday that its negotiations with Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) had been successful, bringing an end to the Faizabad sit-in.

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, announced this during a press conference held alongside TLP leaders

On Saturday, TLP staged a sit-in at Faizabad Interchange, calling on the government to provide food and medical aid to Palestinians and to label Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a terrorist.

The protest began with a rally led by Hafiz Saad Rizvi at Liaquat Bagh. Following the rally, which was marked by participants waving TLP and Palestinian flags, the group marched to Faizabad.

Upon arrival, TLP leaders declared their intention to continue the sit-in indefinitely. The rally attracted participants from various areas of Rawalpindi Division.

During the conference today, Sanaullah said, “Tehreek-e-Labbaik is protesting against the oppression of Palestinian Muslims."

He added that Hafiz Saad Rizvi had “demands for aid to Palestinians and condemnation of Israel’s actions.”

The government announced that it has committed to dispatching aid to Palestine before July 31, including “over 1,000 tons of food and other relief supplies” to Gaza.

Sanaullah condemned Israel, stating, “Israel has emerged as a terrorist state following its attacks on Gaza” and accused it of “war crimes” against “innocent Palestinians.”

He also described Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as a “terrorist” and urged the international community to hold Israel accountable.

In addition, a boycott of Israeli products and companies will be implemented, with a committee formed to oversee the effort.

Sanaullah praised TLP’s solidarity with Palestinians, stating, “We appreciate the spirit of solidarity shown by TLP’s friends.”
