The dismembered body of a man, identified as Jamal Shah, was found stuffed in a bag in the Rerhi Goth area of Sukkhan on Thursday.
The victim was allegedly murdered by his friend Muhammad Syed, alias Jawad, with the help of his wife, Nasira, according to Qazi Sultan, SHO Sukhan police station.
The accused couple called Shah to their home in Rehri Goth and bludgeoned him to death before severing his hands, legs, and head, the SHO said, adding that the couple then stuffed the dismembered body into a sack and dumped it into a drain. However, the sack got stuck because of the low pressure of water in the drain.
As per police investigation, the deceased used to harass and blackmail his friend’s wife by snapping her pictures. On this, the couple allegedly planned to murder him and get rid of his shenanigans.
Initially, the torso was found in Quaidabad, while the rest of the body organs were missing. The severed head, hands and feet were found days later. The deceased was a father of four and lived in Sherpao Colony.
