Police arrest suspect caught molesting children in Lahore’s Gajjarpura

Accused would reportedly lure children into the jungle with promises and then molest them

In a swift operation, police in Gajjarpura arrested a suspect caught red-handed molesting children in the Krol Ghati jungle area, according to Express News.

The suspect, identified as Muhammad Asif, son of Muhammad Shaukat, and a resident of China Scheme, was reportedly luring children into the jungle with promises and then molesting them.

Police conducted an intelligence-based operation to apprehend the suspect. Muhammad Asif was arrested while committing the crime.

Among the victims was a 14-year-old boy named Muhammad Anas, a student and Hafiz-e-Quran, who was returning home from a madrassa in Ahmad Town when he was assaulted.

The suspect has been handed over to the Investigation Wing for further interrogation.
