Johnny Depp unveiled four tarot-inspired art pieces on Thursday, one of which features his ex, Vanessa Paradis.

The Hollywood actor honored Vanessa, the mother of his children, Jack and Lily, by creating an art piece titled "The Empress."

Depp said, “It looks like a crown that has weathered storms. It shows a certain courage and strength of commitment…. the Crown has been through a lot; she still shines.”

In this artwork, the Pirates of the Caribbean star depicted Vanessa seated in a stoic pose, he added,”I know who she is inside. She's magnificent. She's pragmatic. She's practical.”

Johnny and Vanessa were together for 14 years before breaking up in 2012. Despite their long relationship and starting a family, they never married but remain 'very close.'

He revealed that his piece, Strength, was inspired by a large-scale painting he created while expecting his first child with Vanessa.

The actor stated that Vanessa's maternal instincts led him to explore themes of inner strength in his painting, noting that 'a veil was lifted' when he became a parent for the first time.

For his third piece, Johnny described The Lovers as “the beginning of the story,” reflecting a balance between masculine and feminine, conscious and subconscious.

He explained that the male figure holding the rose is protecting the female and warding off danger, evoking a balance beyond just romantic love.

The Emperor piece is powerful and was inspired by a work Johnny created while filming Jeanne du Barry in Versailles.

Depp said the piece “represents ignorant power. I certainly.. wouldn't dare put my own face as an emperor. Never. I made 'The Emperor' somewhat faceless because if you put the Emperor next to the Empress who do you trust?... The Empress.”

Johnny concluded by saying the four pieces “represent a reading for me that I lived but also activating all the characters that I've played throughout my life.”
