US President Joe Biden, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, has drawn attention with his social media posts targeting Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Biden tweeted, "I'm sick," followed by, "..of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election. And if you agree, pitch in here." The tweet included images of Trump and Musk alongside a link to Biden’s campaign donation site.

These tweets came shortly after Trump survived an assassination attempt, prompting Musk to endorse the former president on X (formerly Twitter). Musk stated, "I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery."

Biden’s tweets appear to aim at shifting public discourse back to his campaign, emphasizing his agenda which includes reversing Trump-era policies and bolstering social security measures. In the wake of his diagnosis, Biden returned to his home in Delaware, experiencing mild symptoms and continuing his presidential duties in self-isolation. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Biden is vaccinated, boosted, and feeling good.

Despite concerns about his health and calls from within the Democratic Party to step down, Biden remains focused on his re-election campaign. He has addressed these health concerns, stating he would consider stepping down only if faced with a serious medical condition.

Biden’s mental and physical fitness have been under scrutiny following several public gaffes. However, he has reaffirmed his capability to serve another term and indicated a willingness to hand over power to Vice President Kamala Harris if necessary.
