Babar Azam ranks third in latest ICC Men's Test Players rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test Player Rankings on Wednesday, with New Zealand's Kane Williamson retaining the top spot among batters. England’s Joe Root follows in second place, while Pakistan's Babar Azam is ranked third.

In the bowling rankings, India's Ravichandran Ashwin holds the number one spot, while England's James Anderson, who recently concluded his Test career, is ranked eighth. Pakistan's fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is placed ninth in the Test bowling rankings.

Among Test all-rounders, India’s Ravindra Jadeja continues to dominate, securing the top position. His compatriot Ravichandran Ashwin is second, followed by Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan in third place.
