Interns invited to fight smog

LAHORE:

A ‘Mera Punjab Smog Free' Chief Minister Climate Leadership Development Internship Programme has been launched to pursue durable steps for the improvement of environment.


Under the initiative, the young graduates will render community service. The graduates having completed their degrees in the last two years may apply.


Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the interns would be paid Rs25,000 per month under the programme.


Registration in the internship programme can be done by July 20. The youths between the ages of 18 to 25 will be awarded community service certificates on the completion of the internship.
