Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has announced a new initiative to cover the fees for Google certification for IT students.
The announcement was made during a speech at the IT Marquee on Sunday, where the governor was accompanied by Pakistan's Attorney General, Mansoor Usman Awan.
Tessori revealed that after a meeting with the Google team in Islamabad, an agreement was reached to provide certifications to students who pass the qualifying test.
These certifications will grant students access to websites where they can potentially earn millions through online business ventures.
Addressing the students, Attorney General Awan praised the initiative, calling it an excellent and commendable effort.
He emphasised the importance of developing the IT sector to overcome economic challenges and urged the students to work diligently to seize this golden opportunity.
