A total of six benches of the Supreme Court would hear various cases in the judicial week starting from Monday, according to the cause list issued by the apex court on Friday, with no bench to be headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
The Supreme Court has already issued the notification for the summer vacation from July 15. During the week from July 15 to July 19, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan will hear the cases in Bench number 1 at the Supreme Court Registry in Islamabad.
The second bench consists of Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Athar Minallah, while the third bench, comprising Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Shahzad Ahmed Khan has been constituted, according to the cause list.
Another bench led by Justice Aminuddin Khan and including Justice Shahid Waheed and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan will hear the cases in Supreme Courts Lahore Registry, while two benches, comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Aqeel Abbasi will hear cases at the Karachi Registry.
