Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reportedly eager to sell their Beverly Hills mansion amidst growing speculation about their marriage. The couple, who purchased the 38,000-square-foot estate in June 2023 for $60.85 million, is now looking to offload the property as soon as possible.

Sources close to the couple revealed that they initially planned to sell the home off-market but decided to list it publicly to attract more buyers. An insider told Us Weekly, “They are in a rush to sell it. Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there.”

 

 

The mansion, featuring 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, was intended to be their dream home. However, the couple has reportedly never felt settled in the space. The insider added, “They rarely have all the kids there at once, so it felt huge for the two of them.” Affleck is said to have been particularly dissatisfied with the distance of the home from his children, while Lopez found the property too large.

The couple’s decision to sell follows a series of divorce rumors and reports of marital discord. Page Six previously noted that Affleck was unhappy with the location due to its remoteness from his children, while Lopez felt overwhelmed by the mansion’s size.

The pair’s relationship has faced challenges since they rekindled their romance and married last year, nearly two decades after their first engagement. Despite Lopez’s early enthusiasm about their relationship, sources suggest that the marriage has been struggling.

An insider claimed, “Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more. It’s not getting any better; it’s worse.” Additionally, a source close to Affleck mentioned, “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

As the couple moves forward with their plans to sell the mansion, it appears their focus is now on resolving their personal issues and moving on from this chapter of their lives.
