Thar Education Alliance (TEA), in collaboration with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), distributed science lab materials to 43 schools in Mithi.
A ceremony, organised for the distribution of materials, was attended by education officers, head teachers, and social workers. To encourage girls' education and establish science labs in schools in Tharparkar, TEA distributed science lab materials to 43 schools. A ceremony was held at the TEA office for this purpose, with participation from DEO Primary Jan Mohammad Bajir, RSU focal person Shamdas, TEA CEO Partab Shivani, deputy DEOs, TEOs Saleem Rahimoon, Mukesh Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, Rasool Bakhsh Samoon, Nandlal, and head teachers from various schools who received the science lab materials.
On the occasion, Shivani said that not only science lab materials are being given to children in Tharparkar with the support of UNESCO, stipends are also given to them while travel allowances were given to female teachers. In this way, education is being further promoted for girls and science education is being promoted. He further said that more projects are under-consideration to educate girls and bring out-of-school children back to school with the support of the ministry of education.
