PO dies in ‘police encounter’
A proclaimed offender (PO) was killed in a police encounter while his two compliance managed to escape from the scene near village 137NB under in the Shah Nikdur area on Saturday.
The police were informed that PO Ehsanullah had fired at the house of Muhammad Nawaz over an old enmity. A team of Shah Nikdur police conducted a raid to arrest the wanted accused.
Seeing the police, the PO opened fire on it. The fire was retaliated by the police in which Ehsan was killed.
He was wanted by the police in several murder cases registered in Khushab and Sargodha districts.
