Frankie Grande has come to the defense of his sister, pop star Ariana Grande, against bizarre cannibalism rumors circulating online. The "Boy Is Mine" singer, who is vegan, has been the subject of false claims that Frankie Grande addressed with a cheeky social media post.

"Listen, I know my sister's been eating the girls up for years but this is a bit extreme!" Frankie wrote. "Besides, she's vegan." This light-hearted retort aimed to dispel the rumors and highlight Ariana's commitment to a vegan lifestyle.

The cannibalism rumors appear to stem from a viral trend where fans of an artist attempt to discourage others from buying concert tickets so they can purchase them all. Additionally, the rumors may have been fueled by a story Ariana shared on the Podcrushed podcast, hosted by her "The Boy Is Mine” video co-star Penn Badgley. During the podcast, Ariana recounted an incident from her youth when she expressed a fascination with serial killers. At a fan event, she was asked who her dream dinner date would be, living or dead, and she jokingly replied, "Jeffrey Dahmer: I have questions."

Earlier this week, Ariana defended herself against criticism of her speaking voice, which went viral after a clip showed her using both higher and lower registers. On the July 9 episode of the Evan Ross Katz-hosted podcast Shut Up Evan, she explained, "That's a normal thing that people do," especially actors who must transform into various characters. Ariana condemned the criticism as sexist, noting the double standard applied to male actors.

"You see male actors... It's always after the fact that they're like, 'Oh wow, how dedicated to his craft! What an amazing transformation! He's a brilliant performer!' And then, god forbid, I sneeze like Glinda or something, or if I make an intonation… it's just that I'm crazy or 'Should someone check on her?' It's the weirdest thing," she stated.

Ariana also mentioned on the podcast that she and her team are exploring options for live shows in between filming the two parts of "Wicked," in which she plays Glinda. Despite her busy schedule, she remains committed to her music career, having released a new album, "Eternal Sunshine," in March.
