Fans react with concern after Matthew McConaughey posts a photo of his severely swollen face following a bee sting.

Matthew McConaughey, the renowned actor, has left fans buzzing with worry after sharing a startling image on Instagram showing the effects of a bee sting. 

The 54-year-old actor displayed the right side of his face significantly swollen, with his eye swollen shut and his cheek visibly puffed up.

Captioning the photo with a simple "bee swell," McConaughey hinted at the cause of his swollen appearance, prompting a wave of concern from his followers. 

Comments ranged from cautionary advice to expressions of shock. 

"Bee careful!" one fan advised, while another expressed, "Dang it, anyway! Take good care of yourself!" Even his brand, Pantalones Tequila, chimed in, asking, "You good, boss?"

This isn't the first time McConaughey has stirred up attention online. 

Recently, he and his wife, Camila Alves, who co-founded their organic tequila brand in 2023, appeared pantsless in an advertisement that played with the theme of National No Pants Day on May 3. 

The couple was seen playing pickleball while promoting a cocktail recipe linked to their brand, Pantalones, ending the commercial with a cheeky reveal behind the court net.

Reflecting on his life and career, McConaughey has often shared personal insights. 

In an interview with People, he reminisced about his first meeting with Camila at Joan's club in California in 2006 and their subsequent whirlwind romance. 

"We went out on our first date three nights later and I knew then that the next night I wanted to go on another date," he disclosed, emphasizing his long-term devotion to her.
