Nicolas Cage's son Weston Cage Coppola arrested on felony warrant after alleged April incident

Weston Cage Coppola, the 33-year-old son of actor Nicolas Cage, was arrested by the LAPD Fugitives Department on Wednesday, July 10, on a felony warrant stemming from an April incident. He was released on a $150,000 bond. The details of the incident remain undisclosed, but Cage Coppola's mother, Christine Fulton, suffered facial injuries after his friends sought her help during a mental health crisis.

Fulton refuted claims of any prior argument with her son, stating she was called by his friends due to his mental state. Upon arrival, she witnessed his breakdown, which turned into a traumatic experience. She emphasized her ongoing support for her son's mental health struggles.

This is not Cage Coppola's first encounter with the law. In 2017, he was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run after crashing into various objects and fleeing the scene. He also faced domestic violence charges in 2011, which he denied.
