Pakistani mountaineer Salma Masood and Dutch mountaineer Richard have been successfully rescued and shifted to Skardu.

The two climbers, who had embarked on an expedition to Broad Peak, requested medical aid after falling ill during the climb.

The Dutch mountaineer experienced altitude sickness and breathing problems, prompting an urgent evacuation request to the Pakistan Army.

Responding swiftly, the Pakistan Army deployed a helicopter to rescue the ailing mountaineers.

Both Masood and Richard expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their immediate response and timely rescue.
