HYDERABAD:

Acknowledging widespread complaints of citizens about water shortage, Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro asked the officials to address the issue on priority. He visited the filtration plants on Jamshoro road on Tuesday, accompanied by Managing Director of Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Board Corporation (HW&SBC) Zahid Khemptio and other officials.

Indus River and its three canals pass through Hyderabad but still the corporation is unable to supply water. The officials cite power outages as the reason.
