Who were the top position holders in Punjab matric exams?

Provincial education minister extends congratulations to all high achievers from various educational boards

The Punjab government has recognized the exceptional academic achievements of top position holders in the recent matriculation exams across the province.

Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat extended his congratulations to all high achievers from various educational boards in Punjab.

Punjab hosts several matriculation boards across the province, including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, and Sahiwal.

Among the notable achievers are Ayan Kashif from Danish School Mianwali and Zunaira Mushtaq from Faisalabad, who secured top positions in the Lahore and Faisalabad Boards, respectively.

Ayan Kashif excelled with an outstanding score of 1190 marks, securing the first position in the Lahore Board exams.

Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat honoured Ayan and other top achievers by presenting medals and laptops in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

Expressing gratitude for his success, Ayan Kashif credited his achievement to the unwavering support of his mother and teachers, particularly highlighting his mother's dedication following the loss of his father.

Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat took to social media to express his delight at the Lahore Board results, emphasizing the achievements of students from Danish School, a flagship project of the PML-N. He also acknowledged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her efforts in combatting academic malpractice.

Position holders

Providing insights into the overall results, BISE Lahore Controller of Examinations Zahid Mian noted that out of 250,000 students, 174,000 successfully passed the exams, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 69.75%.

In Sargodha Board, Maimoona Aiman secured the 1st position, followed by Mishkoat Khan in 2nd place, and Arifa Tabassum in 3rd place.

In the Board of Intermediate Education in Multan, Muhammad Anas Naveed claimed the 1st spot, with Muhammad Faizan Shaukat securing 2nd place and Rania Shahid achieving 3rd place.

In the Faisalabad matric Board, Zunaira Mushtaq clinched the 1st position. Rawalpindi Board saw Aqsa Noor, Tayyaba Arif, and Abeera Asif securing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, respectively.

In the Gujranwala Board, Muhammad Shuja Ameer, Muhammad Waleed, Bareera Shahid, and Memoona Liaqat achieved the top 3 positions.
