RAWALPINDI:

A captain and three soldiers of Pakistan Army on Tuesday embraced martyrdom while gallantly fighting terrorists during exchanges of fire in Waziristan districts.

In one incident in North Waziristan, during the fierce engagement, army troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad (24 years old, resident of Rawalpindi district), having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.

Separately, three soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom while gallantly fighting against terrorists during a fire exchange that took place between security forces and terrorists in South Waziristan district on Tuesday.

During intense exchange of fire, three brave soldiers; Sepoy Asad Ullah (age: 30 years, resident of Mitiari District), Sepoy Muhammad Sufyan (age: 28 years, resident of DI Khan District) & Non Combatant Bearer Zain Ali (age: 24 years, resident of Bahwalnagar District), having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat, an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said.

“Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area. Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the ISPR said.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardar and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in their separate messages, expressed deep grief and sorrow with the bereaved families of the martyred soldiers.
