Software house CEO killed over unpaid salary

KARACHI:

The Tipu Sultan police on Tuesday registered a murder case against a suspect arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of the CEO of a private software house reportedly over an unpaid salary. The murder took place inside Kawish Crown Plaza on Sharae Faisal within the remits of Tipu Sultan police station.

As per details, the victim, Naveed Khan, was attacked on Monday night on the fourth floor of the plaza. The accused, identified as Shoaib Khan, allegedly used a sharp-edged weapon to stab Naveed, leading to his death. The case invoking Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code was registered on a complaint of the deceased’s brother, Imtiaz Khan.  According to preliminary investigation, the murder was motivated by the accused’s dissatisfaction over an unpaid salary.
