Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, known for their roles as Marvel superheroes, are gearing up for a new cinematic collaboration outside the realm of capes and superpowers.
During promotions for their latest Marvel installment, "Deadpool & Wolverine," Reynolds hinted at another joint project in the works. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Reynolds disclosed, "We have one we’re looking to do soon."
Reflecting on their off-screen rapport, Reynolds emphasized their supportive dynamic: "I’m always rooting for Hugh to score and win. I also know the infinite nuance of his heart and his mind and who he is. I can say firsthand that he’s a person who’s not just worth rooting for, he’s somebody who’s impossible to not root for."
The duo recently made headlines with the China release of "Deadpool & Wolverine," which hit screens simultaneously with its US debut on July 26. Reynolds and Jackman, alongside director Shawn Levy, arrived in Shanghai to promote the film, marking a milestone as the franchise's first Chinese release.
In this latest Marvel outing, Reynolds and Jackman reprise their iconic roles, navigating a plot that spans time and space as they battle a common adversary. Their previous collaboration dates back to Jackman’s 2009 standalone "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
