The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), with the assistance of Interpol, has arrested an accused who was wanted for serious crimes after seven years in Oman.
The suspect, Imran Ali, was handed over to the Punjab police. According to officials, Ali was wanted by Hasan Abdal’s City Police Station and had fled abroad after committing a murder in 2017. A red notice had been issued by Interpol for his arrest. Ali was apprehended in Oman and transferred to Islamabad airport.
