Pakistan's white-ball coach, Gary Kirsten, has submitted a comprehensive report addressing the team's underwhelming performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024, co-hosted by the USA and West Indies.

Sources reveal that Kirsten forwarded the confidential report to Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, for evaluation.

The report meticulously analyses various facets contributing to Pakistan's disappointing campaign in the tournament, highlighting key areas such as fitness levels, discipline issues, and game awareness among the players.

"Gary Kirsten has raised significant concerns about the players' fitness," the report stated.

PCB Chief Naqvi is set to review the findings thoroughly and plans to discuss the contents with PCB officials and seek insights from former cricketers before outlining the next course of action.

Pakistan had a disappointing T20 World Cup campaign, facing an upset defeat at the hands of co-hosts the USA, followed by a crucial loss against arch-rivals India.

Despite winning their last two matches against Canada and Ireland, it wasn't enough to advance to the next round, resulting in their elimination from the tournament.
