Search Operation: Three suspects arrested

MINGORA: Security forces arrested three suspects during a search operation in Matta and Banjoot tehsils in Swat. The operation was initiated in Labat, Bahadar Banda, Jana and other areas near Matta Tehsil on the suspected presence of militants in different parts of Swat. Three suspects were taken into custody by security forces in the search operation carried out in the mountainous areas of Banjoot and its adjacent villages of upper Manglawar. However, no arrest was reported. Three militants were killed in an operation in the Beesh Banrd and Tuligram areas. A security forces official was killed and two local peace committee volunteers sustained injuries.
