'Entourage' actor's Tesla suddenly stops mid-car wash
Kevin Dillon, the actor from HBO's series "Entourage," had an unexpected incident with his Tesla during a car wash, causing a chain reaction of rear-end collisions.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred last Monday at a drive-thru car wash in the L.A. area, where cars are typically left in neutral as they move through the wash. However, Dillon's vehicle suddenly braked when he accidentally lifted from his seat, triggering the car's automatic braking system.
This unexpected halt led to a minor fender bender involving three cars behind him. Although the damage was minimal, at least one person reported discomfort, prompting law enforcement to respond and file an accident report.
TMZ reports that the attending deputy determined that the "Entourage" star was responsible for the accident, not the car wash equipment. Additionally, there is a warning sign at the car wash advising Tesla owners that sudden seat movements could automatically shift their car into park, potentially causing injury or damage.
