HYDERABAD:

The Qomi Awami Tehreek (QAT) President Ayaz Latif Palijo has deplored that province’s ruling clique is destroying Sindh, but the judiciary and the parliament appear indifferent. Addressing a public meeting in Mirpurkhas on Saturday night, Palijo equated the collapse of the gates of the Sukkur Barrage with the moral collapse of the provincial government and its administration.

He dwelt on length on the massive economic consequences of the damaged caused to the barrage’s structure as well as the water shortages issues which are cropping up in the province. “Sindh is the centre of the country’s economy and its destruction is tantamount to enmity with the country.”

Palijo also came down hard on the federal government especially its power distribution companies saying that the incessant outages are thrusting the people in psychological disorders. “The K-Electric, HESCO and SEPCO have made the province hot like a volcano.”

He reiterated that the infrastructure, health and education facilities in Sindh are being destroyed with the weapon of corruption.
