Four cops killed as vehicle overturns on Indus Highway

HYDERABAD:

Four policemen lost their lives and three were injured when their patrol vehicle overturned due to a broken tie rod end on the Indus Highway in Kashmore Kandhkot district within the limits of Karampur police station on Sunday.

The policemen Ghulam Yaseen, Wisar Ahmed, Muhammad Ismail and Talib Hussain Chaari died while Shahid Pathan Abdul Hafeez Augahi and Zahoor Khoso were seriously wounded. The bodies and injured were shifted to the district’s Civil Hospital from where they shifted to Sukkur.

Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased policemen was offered at the district’s police headquarters, attended by SSP Bashir Brohi, Deputy Commissioner Ameer Fazal Owaisi and other officials. Later the dead bodies were sent to respective residences of the deceased.
