Javelin star Arshad Nadeem, currently focused on Paris Olympics preparations, is set to depart for Paris on July 7 to compete in the Diamond League.
Coach Salman Iqbal Butt confirmed that Arshad’s rehabilitation program is progressing well, with training throws now underway.
Prior to the Diamond League event, Arshad is expected to fully resolve any lingering fitness issues, boosting his confidence ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Khawaja Junaid, the Prime Minister's Youth Program Focal Person for Sports, visited Punjab Stadium to assess Arshad Nadeem's training progress, offering encouragement and ensuring comprehensive support.
Junaid mentioned that he visited Arshad as per the directives of the Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Khan, to oversee training facilities and promptly address any concerns.
According to Junaid , Arshad is a national pride and hero, extensively supported by the government across all levels.
The government aims for Arshad’s to bring glory to the nation with an outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics.
