Emma Roberts recently opened up about nepotism in Hollywood during her appearance on the Table for Two podcast. Despite her own notable lineage, Roberts believes that men often have an easier path in the industry due to their famous family connections. She pointed to George Clooney as a prime example, noting his aunt, Rosemary Clooney, was a significant star in the 1940s and 1950s.

Roberts humorously remarked, "Why is no one calling out George Clooney for being a nepo baby? [His aunt] Rosemary Clooney was an icon." Rosemary Clooney was not only a prominent singer but also appeared alongside Bing Crosby in "White Christmas" and featured in an episode of "ER" with George.

Despite her comments, Roberts emphasized that having family connections in Hollywood should not be held against anyone. She stated, "I don’t think anyone should be punished for their family connections. After all, there are no guarantees, and talent ultimately determines the path".

Roberts herself comes from a well-known family, being the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and the niece of actress Julia Roberts. She has successfully carved out her own career, starring in numerous projects including "American Horror Story" and "Madame Web"
