Pakistani supermodel and actress Sadaf Kanwal recently opened up about the challenges she faced from her family when she decided to pursue a career in modelling.
In an interview, Kanwal shared that her decision to enter the fashion industry led to significant backlash from her father and brother, who stopped speaking to her for two years.
Despite this, she found support in her mother, who encouraged her to follow her passion.
Kanwal, who began modelling at a young age, revealed that her inspiration came from her aunt, an actress who worked with notable actors like Sultan Rahi.
"I was always influenced by my aunt's work and wanted to join the showbiz industry," she said.
Her journey started with an audition where she was selected, and soon she began working with various brands.
However, her family's initial reaction was not supportive. "When my family found out I was modelling, my father and brother were very angry and didn't talk to me for two years," Kanwal said.
Kanwal's persistence eventually paid off, and her family came to accept her career choice.
"In the beginning, I faced a lot of opposition from my father and brother, but eventually, they understood that modelling was my passion and accepted my decision," she concluded.
Sadaf Kanwal has since become a successful model and actress, balancing her career in both fields. This story underscores the personal struggles behind her professional success.
