ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the deputy commissioner to resolve the issue of granting permission to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally in the federal capital.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked that the court should also be informed about the permissions granted to other parties before and after the PTI’s request.

The court reminded the authorities to consider the rights granted to citizens by the Constitution. The court heard the case against the denial of permission to PTI to hold a rally.

Shaheen assured the court that his party was willing to comply with the conditions imposed by the district administration for granting permission. The court directed the DC to resolve the matter.
