ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday dismissed similar cases registered against Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid in Sindh and Balochistan for allegedly using derogatory language against PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

IHC’s Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri delivered the reserved verdict, approving the petitions filed by the former federal minister.

Rashid was present in the court when the verdict was announced.

The cases were registered against the AML chief in Islamabad, Sindh's Mochko and Balochistan’s Lasbela.

Rashid said multiple cases could not be registered over the same incident in different cities of the country.
