PITB to organise WhizKids summer camp

A summer camp will be organised by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for children and youths aged eight to 17 years from July 17. According to a statement, the WhizKids Summer Camp 2024 will offer the participants discovery, excitement and fun.

The camp will continue for three weeks, with diverse of activities designed to boost skills and foster innovation. The initiative aims to immerse children from all backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship.

It will feature free workshops on coding, graphic designing, app development, entrepreneurship, marketing and other subjects.

PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the goal was to provide a platform for young innovators to explore their interests and develop new skills. “We are committed to fostering an environment where children can thrive and become the future leaders of our nation,” he added.

The registration deadline for the camp is July 7.

It will run from July 17 to August 2 at the Arfa Software Technology Park and the registration can be completed online.
