Travis Kelce opens up about falling for girlfriend Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce openly shared his feelings about his girlfriend Taylor Swift, detailing the exact moment he fell deeply in love with her.

Appearing on the “Bussin’ With The Boys podcast” released on Tuesday, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end discussed his relationship with the 14-time Grammy winner.

When asked about dating the world’s biggest pop star, the three-time Super Bowl champion was straightforward and candid.

“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” he told co-hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. “That’s my girl. That’s my lady. I’m proud of that.”

“I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?’ You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”

Despite being a global sensation, Kelce fell for the “Love Story” singer because of her ability to remain grounded.

“She’s very self-aware,” he shared. “She understands situations like that and I think that’s why I really started to fall for her, how genuine she is just around friends and family.”

“It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she keeps it so chill and so cool and I can admire it for sure,” he added.

Since the duo began their romance last summer, Swift made headlines by attending a Chiefs game in September.
