Shifty Shellshock, the lead vocalist of Crazy Town, has passed away at the age of 49.

The singer, whose real name was Seth Binzer, was discovered in his Los Angeles home earlier this week. Multiple sources, including Kerrang! and NewsWeek, have reported the news, and an LA medical examiner has confirmed his death.

As of now, limited details about his passing have been disclosed, and the cause of death has not been made public.

The frontman emerged in the late '90s, and his rock rap group gained fame in the early '00s. Their most well-known hit, the 1999 classic "Butterfly," topped singles charts worldwide, including the Billboard Hot 100.

The band released their second album in 2002, but they disbanded shortly after due to its lack of commercial success. After several years away from the music scene, Crazy Town reunited in 2007 and subsequently released their comeback third album, 'The Brimstone Sluggers', in 2015.

During his time away from the band, Bizner collaborated with British producer Paul Oakenfold, resulting in their 2002 release titled 'Starry Eyed Surprise'.

The lead singer had openly discussed his personal challenges in previous years, participating in several reality shows during the 2000s to raise awareness about and address his battle with addiction.

He leaves behind three sons, and more information regarding his passing is anticipated to be disclosed soon.
