ISLAMABAD: Pak Datacom Limited and O3b Networks signed a multi-million dollar, joint-venture agreement on Wednesday, making Pak Datacom O3b’s supplier of services in the Pakistani market, a statement said. It added that the agreement was of great value to the Pakistani market as fibre-optic quality, high-speed internet and data connectivity would now be provided through satellite to even those locations in Pakistan where little connectivity existed before. The decision was announced in a ceremony where, besides Secretary Information Technology and Telecommunications Saeed Ahmed Khan, top executives of many telecom and defence companies were present.
