Body to prepare proposals for drug addicts rehab

QUETTA:

The Balochistan government on Monday decided to constitute a committee to make functional the rehabilitation centers for the recovery of drug-affected persons

The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The committee, to be head by the social welfare secretary, was directed to prepare comprehensive proposals for eradicating drugs and rehabilitation of addicted persons within a week and present it in the next meeting.

The chief minister directed establishing separate rehabilitation centers for the treatment of women suffering from drug addiction.
