The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has completed 50 years of its educational journey (1974 to 2024).
The celebration arranged by the university is comprised of 24 different events which are to be held throughout the year 2024. This includes seminars and conferences organised by various departments, alumni ceremonies, education expo, as well as the convocations of the Islamabad, Punjab and KP chapters.
Earlier this year, a two-day International Conference on Modern Trends in Chemistry was held from February 14 to 15, another two-day International Conference on Research and Practices in Education from February 28 to 29, and a three-day International Conference on Ijtihad Bil Maqasid was also held from May 22 to 24, 2024.
The 37th annual international conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) is set to happen from October 15 to 17, in which more than 100 vice-chancellors, rectors, professors and around 250 national-level education experts and researchers of open universities of Asian countries will present papers.
Additionally, the 2nd International Conference on Cultural Dialogue will be held on 2nd and 3rd July 2024.
