Sadaf Sabzwari, née Kanwal, a prominent Pakistani model and actress, has confessed to undergoing cosmetic surgeries to enhance her beauty.
In an Eid special interview with IQE, the model-turned-actress was discussing her career and personal life, when she revealed that she had dental surgery among other procedures to improve her appearance.
Kanwal shared her views on the showbiz industry, expressing her dislike for certain actresses and her decision to avoid them. She addressed the criticism of being called 'fake' by asserting her authenticity.
"If I like them if I don't like them...there are many fake[actresses], so sometimes I also have to be fake," she said.
She furthered on, “You give me love, I’ll reciprocate. There are many people in the industry whom I don’t talk to or don’t meet. There are actors I don’t like so in response, they call me fake. I say okay. Everyone’s a little fake at times, even I have to be.”
She revealed that she was "not considered beautiful in her youth" and had an average appearance.
It was through social media that she found the motivation to enhance her looks.
Kanwal also mentioned her educational background, stating she only completed up to a B.Com degree and regrets not continuing her studies.
The model also commented about "fans" targeting media persons and invading their personal freedom.
“Whether or not a woman smokes is none of your business. It’s her will to do whatever she wants. She’s not your sister or daughter. It’s her life. Just because you can access someone’s Instagram, you are ripping people to shreds. Stop doing this,” she firmly stated.
