The former Beatles star attended the third night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, June 23.
Taylor Swift might have hosted some members of the British royal family at her Eras Tour this weekend, but now she has music royalty in attendance!
On Sunday, June 23, Paul McCartney attended Taylor Swift's third consecutive Eras Tour date at London's Wembley Stadium, basking in the Swiftie love just days after celebrating his 82nd birthday.
The former Beatles star seemed in high spirits as he entered the venue, greeted by fans who handed him numerous friendship bracelets on his way to his seat.
One fan captured McCartney's entrance on X (formerly Twitter), showing him walk into a VIP tent after waving to admirers and accepting their bracelets. At one moment, he raised his arms, eliciting cheers from hundreds of attendees.
This weekend's Eras Tour London performances also attracted notable attendees such as Prince William and two of his children, Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, as well as Tom Cruise. Sunday's show featured a celebrity audience including Jon Bon Jovi, Cate Blanchett, and Gracie Abrams.
The mutual admiration between Swift, 34, and McCartney has been evident for several years. They mingled at the 2024 Super Bowl in February, collaborated for Rolling Stone's Musicians on Musicians issue in 2020, and coordinated album release dates to accommodate each other. According to Austin Butler, Swift even DJed at one of McCartney's recent house parties.
