Boxer Ryan Garcia recently caused a stir by alleging that rapper Drake was involved in the murder of XXXTentacion, tapping into an existing conspiracy theory.

On June 20, after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs from his April fight with Devin Haney, Garcia took to X (formerly Twitter). Following a $10,000 fine and a year-long suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission, Garcia insisted on his innocence and tweeted, "F**k it drake killed x," and then, "Don't screenshot. Just kidding I don't give a f**k."

Garcia soon apologized, writing, "I'm sorry Drake my bad it's love."

This surprising claim ties into a conspiracy theory suggesting Drake's involvement in XXXTentacion's 2018 murder due to their past feud. XXXTentacion had accused Drake of copying his hit single "Look at Me!" and tweeted three months before his death, "If anyone tries to kill me it was @champagnepapi [Drake]. I'm snitching RN."

XXXTentacion was killed during an armed robbery in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 18, 2018. Despite suggestions from a murder suspect's attorney, a judge ruled there was no evidence implicating Drake.
