One killed, 15 injured in different incidents

One person lost his life while 15 people sustained injuries in various incidents including clash and accidents in Kotri and Jamshoro areas.

A resident of Shahdad Kot, identified as 40-year-old Ali Bakhsh was crushed by a speeding car while he was crossing the road at M9 Motorway Nooriabad main stop. He died on the spot. Driver of the car managed to escape. Police shifted the body to Thana Bola Khan Hospital. The deceased worked in a factory in Nooriabad Industrial Zone.

In Jamshoro RBB Colony, the Solangi community got into a fight over a trivial matter, in which around 10 people were injured by being hit with sticks and bricks. A case was registered against five people at Jamshoro police station on the complaint of Advocate Amir Hazoor Solangi.

In a road accident on Indus Highway two women and three children were injured when a van heading to Sehwan collided with a car.

Meanwhile, a clash took place between Khaskheli and Rind communities on the first day of the opening of Water Park near check post No.13 on M-9 Motorway within the limit of Jamshoro police station. Police reached the park but they were not allowed to enter and intervene. The park is stated to be built by the cousin of an influential officer in the Sindh Police.
