Jane Levy and boyfriend Thomas McDonell announce pregnancy with red carpet photo

Levy announced on June 19 that she was expecting her first child with McDonell.

Jane Levy is expecting her first child with boyfriend Thomas McDonell. 

The Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist alum, 34, revealed her pregnancy on June 19 by posting a photo on social media, showcasing her baby bump while attending a red carpet event with McDonell.

In the photo, Levy was dressed in a black velvet gown with a plunging neckline, complemented by a sleek straight hairstyle, red lipstick, and dangling earrings. McDonell wore a pale blue striped button-down shirt under a black work jacket. 

This child will be the first for both Levy and McDonell. Levy shared the news with a simple caption, tagging McDonell and adding a heart exclamation point emoji.

Levy and McDonell began dating in 2011 after meeting through their work in the entertainment industry. At that time, Levy was separated from her then-husband, Jaime Freitas. Levy and Freitas finalized their divorce in 2013.

McDonell, known for his work as an artist, actor, and musician, also guest-starred on Levy's sitcom, Suburgatory, which aired on ABC from 2011 to 2014.

Levy has appeared in various films and television series. She is best known for her role in Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, where she played the titular character, Zoey Clarke, a software developer who hears people's innermost thoughts as musical numbers. 

Despite being canceled after two seasons in June 2021, the series received critical acclaim, an Emmy for outstanding choreography in 2020, and a Golden Globe nomination for Levy.
