Britney Spears shares mysterious post following Justin Timberlake's DWI arrest

Britney Spears has posted a cryptic Instagram message following the arrest of her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. 

On Tuesday, Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after reportedly running a stop sign and veering out of his lane in Upstate New York.

Timberlake, who is married to Jessica Biel and has two children, had spent the previous evening with friends at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, Hamptons. He left the gathering around 12:30 am and was subsequently pulled over in his BMW. According to court documents, the officer noted Timberlake had "glassy and bloodshot eyes and the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath."

In the wake of the arrest, Britney Spears, who dated Timberlake from 1999 to 2002, shared a photo of a cocktail with a flower in it on Instagram, captioned: "It’s the little things you know." 

She followed this with one of her dancing videos, showcasing new outfits, including a white and neon green mini dress and a black and cream cocktail dress. She wrote, "First cocktail dress ever!!! Playing in Vegas today and tonight too," and disabled comments to avoid speculation.

Timberlake was officially charged with one count of misdemeanour DWI. He was handcuffed and arrested on Main Street in Sag Harbor after allegedly refusing a sobriety test. He was also cited for running a stop sign and veering from his lane. His mugshot, showing a glassy-eyed Timberlake, was released after the arrest. Timberlake claimed to have had "one martini" with friends before driving home.
