Victoria Beckham is reportedly "livid" about the upcoming release of Tom Bower's book, 'The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power', which explores her marriage to David Beckham.

The book, written by investigative biographer Tom Bower, is scheduled to be published just weeks before the couple's 25th wedding anniversary next month.

The book, based on extensive research, expert sources, and insider interviews, recounts various alleged events in their relationship.

According to a source quoted by Closer Magazine, Victoria is displeased with the timing of the release and its potential impact on their celebration. "Victoria is livid about the upcoming book, because what was supposed to be a landmark date for them is instead going to be reliving the hell that almost broke her," the source said. "Instead of being able to celebrate their marriage and the ups and downs of their journey and the love and life they have built together, it's all coming under attack."

Victoria is also reportedly concerned that the book will portray them as "work and money obsessed people."

The Mirror, which has serialised parts of the book, reveals that Bower claims the couple barely spoke at one point and lived separate lives, particularly around eight years ago when their relationship allegedly became "a distant business" one. Bower also claims that their respective PR teams spread negative stories about each other, and David accused Victoria and her publicist of "waging a media war" against him.

Despite these alleged difficulties, the Beckhams reportedly remained united for their brand, especially after overcoming the turmoil caused by Rebecca Loos' affair allegations, which David has vehemently denied.
