Eid ul Adha: Light rain forecast for Karachi in evening

Meteorological Office predicts hot conditions for most parts of Sindh until June 20

KARACHI:

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said on Tuesday that some areas of Karachi may experience light rain tonight.

However, Karachi's weather is forecasted to stay hot and humid over the next 24 hours. The PMD reported a minimum temperature of 30°C, with maximum temperatures expected to range between 35 to 37°C.

Humidity levels are currently at 72%, and sea winds are blowing at speeds of 30 to 35 kilometers per hour.

Last week, the Meteorological Office predicted that most parts of Sindh would endure hot conditions until June 20.

The Regional Meteorological Center Karachi has meanwhile predicted overcast conditions with a 55% to 65% chance of light rain for some areas of Karachi 

Additionally, the weather department noted that much of the country will experience very hot and dry weather today.

It also mentioned the likelihood of thunderstorms in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and the Potohar region.
