Pakistan cricketers Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir have decided to retire again from international cricket after their poor performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup, sources told Express News on Saturday.

It was reported that Amir and Wasim will announce their retirement after playing their last match for Pakistan against Ireland in Florida on Sunday.

Both players, who renounced their retirement to make themselves available to play the T20 World Cup for Pakistan, did not meet expectations in the major event and did not contribute to any performance that could lead to the team's victory.

Sources confirmed that formal retirement announcements will be made soon by both cricketers after which they will only play league cricket.
