Princess Diana, known for her comfort in front of cameras, reportedly felt uneasy posing in front of iconic landmarks, according to royal photographer Samir Hussein. During a visit to Egypt, Diana shared her nervousness about being photographed at the pyramids with Hussein's father.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Samir revealed that Diana felt "very uneasy" about taking a photo in front of such a monumental landmark. "My father got into a conversation with her, and she said she was very nervous when it came to appearing in front of big iconic landmarks," Samir recounted. "She was visiting Egypt the next day and was going to be visiting the pyramids."
The Husseins, a family of royal photographers, recently curated an exhibit showcasing Diana's iconic images and the stories behind them. They uncovered many unseen photos, including a favorite of Diana's that captured her cradling a sick child in Japan. The photo, showcasing Diana's caring side, held a special place in her heart and further illustrates the deep connection she had with those she met.
