Teen Mom's Amber Portwood's partner, Gary Wayt, has been found safe, ending a three-day search initiated by the Bryson City Police Department. Wayt, 39, was reported missing on June 11, after a seemingly calm discussion with Portwood on June 9. He left home with his keys and wallet but without his phone, raising concerns among family and friends.

On June 14, the police announced on Facebook that Wayt had been located and that the case was closed, though no further details were provided.

Initially, video footage had placed Wayt in Oklahoma, over 900 miles from where he was last seen. Portwood, 34, expressed her deep concern for Wayt, emphasizing the emotional nature of their last discussion, which revolved around familial and cultural issues.

Portwood, known for her appearances on "Teen Mom" and "16 and Pregnant," had recently introduced Wayt in an episode of "Teen Mom: Next Chapter." The couple began dating in January after meeting on a dating app, with Wayt proposing shortly before his disappearance using a ring crafted from a family stone.

Wayt’s disappearance had caused significant worry among his family and Portwood, who stressed the seriousness of the situation in a YouTube livestream. The couple had reportedly been attending therapy to strengthen their relationship.

Portwood has two children from previous relationships and has been a prominent figure on reality television, sharing her life experiences and challenges with a wide audience.
